ROCKS Special Issue People of Rebellion: Yoko Ono / Rei Kawakubo

2010 special issue of ROCKS, published in Japan as a supplement to CNN English Express, built around a double portrait of two uncompromising iconoclasts artist Yoko Ono and Comme des Garçons founder Rei Kawakubo under the theme “People of Rebellion.” True to its motto that “Rocks don’t follow the fashion,” the issue pairs the pair’s unchanging, independent spirit with a wide roster of Japanese cultural figures in its regular features.
