In keeping with the label’s tradition of commissioning artists for its seasonal booklets and direct-mail pieces, the cover presents an Otomo-drawn biomechanical figure rendered in his intricate, hyper-detailed style a crossover collectible bridging Rei Kawakubo’s house and one of Japan’s most influential graphic artists.
